Questions, answered
Anything else? Ask us directly.
How is the service priced?
One price per workstation, per month. A workstation is a desktop, laptop or thin client. Requests are included when they relate to the service and take under an hour; work outside the service is charged as time and materials.
Do you come on site?
Yes, at metro sites: anywhere under 55 minutes' drive from a capital city CBD. Regional and interstate sites are supported remotely, with on-site visits by arrangement, charged as time and materials.
Is security included?
We quote the service with security included by default: endpoint detection and response, application control, email security and security awareness training. If you're keeping your own security provider, we'll quote without it. Either way, you're free to have a third party assess what's in place.
What isn't covered?
Plant and process control systems belong to their specialist vendors; we look after the network and infrastructure around them. For applications a vendor controls, we manage the vendor relationship and the infrastructure underneath. Major version upgrades, out-of-band patches and disaster recovery work are quoted separately.
Do you check our backups?
Yes, wherever a backup solution is in place: automated and human checks every day, and a restore test every month. Disaster recovery planning and testing come with our Backup and disaster recovery service.
How do we get started?
With one free meeting. You'll leave with a written scope and an indicative price for your environment.
